Made in the Lake District

We arrived in Loughrigg in the Lake District at our forest lodge for a relaxing holiday with our dog. The surroundings were seriously stunning. I was shocked when I emerged from the warren of lodges out onto a hilltop with a 360 degrees view overlooking Loughrigg Tarn and Elterwater.  

Back at the lodge, I prayed for inspiration for the next season. I sensed if I could bottle what I had just seen it would bring real joy to many others too. 

I was enjoying looking at an abstract framed picture of a bird in flight set on a bright red background. 

An idea sprang to mind to take a photo of a plant and to encase it in a spherical marble.

I photographed a fiery red garden plant through the window with my iPhone and uploaded it to ChatGPT prompting the AI model to create the marble. 

I was enthralled by the effect.  

Exploring the forests, hills and streams, I took photos of eye-catching features with our dog looking on amused. 

I’ve had so much fun generating the marbles. It’s been a wonderful way to relax from my other work and explore the quiet wonder of nature.  I hope you enjoy the calm and stillness distilled in these marbles.
